Batted six for eight on the Oscar picks...

I have seen less than half of the nominees, but am usually pretty accurate when it comes to picking the winners.  The big toss-up this year is Best Supporting Actress.  Here are the picks:

Best Picture:
No Country for Old Men
Best movie of 2007 (with Zodiac a close second).

Best Director:
The Coen Brothers
Long overdue.

Best Actor:
Daniel Day-Lewis
Fantastic, as always.

Best Actress:
Julie Christie
I have not seen any of the performances so this is an educated guess...

Best Supporting Actor:
Javier Bardem

Best Supporting Actress:
Amy Ryan
Good performance but not a lot of screen time.  Tilda Swinton might get this instead.
